Featuring Rockwell

The Clock mender appeared on Post cover, November 3, 1945.  Rockwell was fascinated by the cast iron clocks on the Marshall Fields building in Chicago. The two electric clocks were controlled by a master clock, but in the event of a power failure, someone had to climb up to reset the hands.
